Since 2008, Dr. Kott has been dedicated to helping patients achieve meaningful long-lasting change in their lives through a collaborative and integrative approach to complete health. Dr. Kott believes in working with every patient as a unique and whole person, utilizing both the rigor and modern tools of western medicine with the holistic and intuitive approach of integrative medicine.
Dr. Kott is a board-certified Surgical Wound Specialist and helped countless patients with bedside surgical debridements and innovative FDA approved advanced therapies such as skin substitute to heal chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and venous leg ulcers.
Dr. Kott graduated from Sackler Medical School at Tel-Aviv University in 2013 and completed his internship at Rabin Medical Center. After moving to the US, he spent two years working in urology and men’s health at The Miriam Hospital and Brown University in Providence, RI. While there, Dr. Kott conducted innovative research that was presented in US and international conferences and published in prestigious journals following a peer reviewed process. Additionally, Dr. Kott volunteered his time at a free clinic in an underserved community where he started a weekly men’s health clinic.
Dr. Kott trained for two years in general surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Florida, before following his passion to treat patients holistically, and whenever possible, non-invasively, to not only address their current conditions but to help them establish practices to keep them healthy into the future.
In addition to his Western medical training, Dr. Kott is deeply interested in Eastern, holistic healing modalities and encourages his patients to practice mindfulness to reduce pain, stress and support weight loss.
Dr. Kott holds a MS in Molecular Biology, a MBA and MHA, all from Tel Aviv University. In addition to his work as a physician, Dr. Kott loves biking, swimming, and water sports.
